Our school residency program is a visit to your school or organization by a circus professional who shares circus and life skills with students. This unforgettable experience is filled with educational value. Circus for All residencies are designed to enhance learning skills by introducing your students to a variety of circus arts. Throughout the residency students acquire focus, patience, and problem solving skills. Circus for All is an exciting learning opportunity that motivates students both in and out
of the classroom.
Your professional circus artist!
Christine Landon first began her circus career at the Florida State University Circus where she performed Spanish Web, Swinging Trapeze, Juggling and more.
Along with performing, Christine coached and rigged while earning a B.S. in criminology and an M.S in sports administration. After graduating she traveled to Australia and taught circus activities to youth at Cirkidz.
Once back in the States, Christine taught flying trapeze in Oakland and Lake Tahoe, California at Trapeze Arts Inc. Christine has also worked as a circus coach in Cirque du Soleil's Cirque du Monde, and for the past five years she has worked as a residency artist for Circus Smirkus.

Activities your students are sure to enjoy may include juggling, spinning plates, unicycling, balancing feathers, devil sticks, diabolos, rolla bollas, rip stix, clowning and more. There will be plenty of games and laughter for all!
The program is developed to promote coordination, fine motor skills and physical fitness in a non-competitive environment.
Juggling is just one example of an excellent activity for teaching goal setting, tracking improvement and perseverance. Juggling even helps to teach math, rhythm and timing.
This program is developed to promote cooperation, persistence and success. With Circus for All, students are given numerous opportunities to try things they never thought they could accomplish. Children learn about goal setting and have tons of fun trying new activities. They quickly discover that with any endeavor, practice creates improvement.
“I would rather be doing circus than be on vacation.”
Cassie - 4th Grader E.Taylor Hatton School F.Morgan, VT
"Christine has amazed me with her ability to quickly assess the class dynamics and set up her work accordingly. She is able to move the class from one activity to another with absolutely no transition issues, which is a difficult skill to master. I even overheard the 6th graders EXCITED in the hallway returning from her class, and that is a feat in itself! Christine has many admirers here at Barstow."
Debbie Parry - Special Education Para-educator Barstow Memorial School Chittenden, VT
“The Circus residency has been amazing. Christine Landon is simply wonderful with the students, who are learning important lessons that go far beyond balancing and juggling.”
Julie Benay - Principal Swanton Elementary Swanton, VT
"Each time I walked into the room, I was stunned by the total commitment and engagement each child gave the task s/he was working on. Our artist in residence, Christine Landon, led our students deftly with a tone all at once warm, enthusiastic, calm, and firm."
Kate Grodin - Principal Sudbury Country School, Sudbury, VT
